So The Deck Held Fast

However … Stevie had yet to put up the railings … so you were good as long as you weren’t near an edge … or that you needed to get down because he hadn’t finished all the stairs either … **sigh**

As always, it makes me feel good to see the boys. It’s been several months since I’ve seen them last, and that’s due to nothing more than hectic timetables. This trip was especially good since the group got to meet Shari … and as expected she went over like gangbusters … this was probably due in some small part to the fact that she has no problem joining in on the verbal harrasment that seems to be directed my way at every one of these events … ahhhhh … Windsor …

Shari and I had a couple of good chats too going back and forth on the 401 … it makes me happy to know that the two of us can communicate openly and, for the most part, keep our cool and not get too irate with each other. I guess because of that it looks like we’ll be able to take all kinds of road trips together … now … all we need is someone to take care of the dog … any takers?

So it’s cool outside tonight and I have boatloads of work I have to do tonight (Ford work) and I thought I’d sneak a peak at your blog. Mine’s still hanging, no posts since April I think. Anyway, yes, yes, the deck held together and no one fell overboard. And yes, everyone loved Shari and thought you two were practically made for one another. And just an FYI I will be cutting the lower level steps this weekend and finishing the last of the railings. Jerky.
